Who is listening to you? Jim Bird makes it a a point to respond to every phone call, email or letter. He has said the District 42 seat doesn't belong to him, it belongs to the people who elected him.

Who keeps you informed and is acting on your behalf? Each session Jim Bird sends out surveys on items that are before the legislature to find out how his constituents feel about the issues, and how they want him to represent them. In addition, JIm and other representatives of West Jordan hold town hall meetings to let you know what the legislature has done and their efforts to support or defeat issues that have come before the lawmakers. |

What major items is he working on? Jim is working diligently with UDOT to solve many of the traffice issues which affect West Jordan. He has and will continue to fight for equalization funding in our public school system to help counter some of the issues that have come about because of the school district split. He is working with the Division of Wildlife Resources to help create new fishing location in two of our new parks. |
